Serving in the Cochabamba, Bolivia
The Lindquist Family (Grantham, Pennsylvania) ― Serving with Food for the Hungry in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Molly is a home school teacher for their four children: Josiah, Abigail, Joshua and Amelia. Erik is a university professor and researcher in biology and environmental science at Messiah College. They will be working to establish Go ED. Andes, an academic program that will provide courses to students from around the world. The hallmark feature of this program is the field practicum, in which they will be mobilizing students into critical need areas for development work in Latin America. These areas include sustainable agriculture, hygiene, education, local church support, child development, maternal/prenatal care, microfinance, and other community based initiatives. The ultimate goal of this program is to instruct and prepare students for careers in relief and development, and to reach a hurting world as salt and light for Christ.
The Lindquists are hoping and praying to positively transform the lives of university students and developing community members, one by one. The Lindquist kids are hoping to reach out to needy children in Cochabamba by establishing relationships and fellowship through street soccer.
