Host 6:8 Sunday at Your Church

Invite your church or small group to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God” through hosting a 6:8 Sunday this year. On 6:8 Sunday, your church can respond to the call of Micah 6:8 through child sponsorship, and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and communities all over the world.

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justice
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God.

6:8 Sunday is simple. All you need to do is:

1. Choose a date for your 6:8 Sunday and order sponsorship packets at least four weeks in advance.

2. Show the sponsorship DVD, “Offering Hope.”

3. Have your church leader endorse Food for the Hungry and child sponsorship.

4. Share from your heart about why you think child sponsorship is important.

5. Be available at a table before and after services to share child packets and talk to people who are interested in finding out more.
