I just read the posted article; Poverty 180: four ways poverty increases a girl's risk of sexual abuse. It really scared me, to think that the girl I sponsor in Mozambique is about 12 years old and could easily fall prey to this. I can't even imagine to live like that, where it is so common. I pray that it stops and that children can be children without the fear of rape or sexual abuse just so they can go to school or go to the bathroom.
