Do you want to make a lasting impact with your life? Do you want to spend your time doing something that matters? Join the Food for the Hungry Advocate team. Advocates know that the problem of poverty is immense, but that they can make a difference. Advocates are willing to give their time, energy and resources to bring hope to people all over the world.

What kind of training do Advocates receive?
Advocates go through a self-guided training course that takes approximately three hours. A Regional Manager or Leader Advocate meets with each Advocate monthly for prayer, support and encouragement. In addition, Advocates are encouraged to attend Food for the Hungry’s annual Summit Conference for training, encouragement, and updates from staff around the world. Advocates also have the chance to learn from and connect with other advocates during webcasts, regional meetings and other forums.
Is there a position open in my community?
Yes, Advocates serve in their own community, advocating among the churches, organizations and people they know.
What if I have more questions?
We’d love to talk to you! Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-2-HUNGERS or email us at advocates@fh.org
Even now, God is rescuing each of us from our own brand of poverty. When you advocate for the 'least of these,' you learn to see yourself as one of the least of God's children. It's a painful and beautiful discovery, and worth everything you have to give.
