3.3 billion people, half of the world's population, live in areas at risk of malaria transmission. In 2008, malaria took the lives of nearly 1 million individuals around the globe (CDC.gov). Learn how Food for the Hungry (FH) is taking action to reduce vulnerabilities to malaria through prevention, education, and treatment.

Speak.

Join FH in speaking on behalf of the less powerful. Encourage your Congressperson to continue supporting legislation that will fund malaria programs, such as the Child Survival and Maternal Health bill.

Give.

Take personal action to give prevention and treatment opportunities to individuals infected with Malaria.
