For three weeks in January/February of ’07 you can join Food for the Hungry in Shangri-La, China to teach English as a Second Language at the Community English Language Center (CELC). Since the "English Camp" will be focusing on conversational English, you will not need any special training beyond your ability to speak English. The people of China so fervently value higher education and often send their children abroad to study. Many in China see this type of camp as a tremendous investment in their children. By participating in this opportunity you can be part of changing the lives of individuals attending the camp who can in turn impact their own communities.
