FH Bangladesh has reported that all their staff are safe, and that our project areas were not severely affected by the cyclone.  For this we are all very thankful.  Nevertheless, there is a lot of damage; hundreds of thousands are homeless and the death toll currently stands at over 1,700, but is expected to rise.

An FH Bangladesh assessment team is in the south of the country, contacting partner organizations that FH has worked with in the past.  Within the next day or two we should know what the priority interventions will be.
