Since the Earthquake struck on Monday, FH has been able to help in meeting unmet needs in some of the hardest hit areas. On Tuesday some members of the FH team went on an assessment trip to Dujiangyan in partnership with Hua Mei International. And on Wednesday they visited the city of Jiangyou and were able to participate in food and water distribution. The damage in Dujiangyan was severe, but the government and military are conducting an effective response and there were no real opportunities for FH to contribute. In Jiangyou, however, there were many people, including children orphaned by the quake, in need of food and water. FH distributed what they had and are returning today with more supplies.
