Relief and Development Methods

Food for the Hungry builds relationships with local and regional leaders, families, and churches in the communities where we work. We work within cultures to effect economic, social, and spiritual transformation while respecting the local worldview. We network and collaborate with other like-minded organizations working in the areas where we work.

Food for the Hungry engages the community to determine what is important for us to do, using technology and methods appropriate to the setting. Additionally, FH continually investigates the community’s worldview to better assist in education. Most often, what is needed is education and introducing current technology and standards to communities lacking access to modern agricultural practices.
