Cambodians face these challenges every day…
- High risk of waterborne illnesses.
- 41 percent of the children have stunted growth.
- Thousands are trafficked across the border to Thailand each year.
After years of war, Cambodians are working to rebuild trust in communities and build support systems that protect children. But Cambodians still need our help.
God is working through Food for the Hungry (FH) and partners like you to tackle the root causes of spiritual and physical hungers by empowering community members.
We do this in Cambodia by training parents in how to grow and sell crops, manage money in savings groups and boosting children’s education. We’ve also had the opportunity to train leaders on trafficking prevention and leadership development.
If you are a pastor, or know of a pastor, looking for a global partner to work in Cambodia, join FH from September 1 – 6, for a trip to Cambodia. This trip gives pastors the opportunity to learn about and grow in God’s love for people who live in poverty and develop a deeper understanding of the complex nature of transformation.
