HURRICANE MATTHEW RELIEF: The Need in Photos

On October 4th, Hurricane Matthew made landfall on the island of Hispanola, carving a destructive path through the country of Haiti and dumping feet of rain throughout the whole island (which includes the Dominican Republic).

Food for the Hungry is responding in communities just south of the capital city of Port-Au-Prince, and in the southern peninsula where the storms impact was most devastating.

Information and reports have been slow to surface, but we wanted to share images of what we have found in the wake of this perilous disaster.

God’s heart weeps for the people of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, as does ours. Join us in showing love to these vulnerable families.
