This authorization to debit or credit my bank account shall be the same as if I had personally signed a check or authorization to FH. Chief International Operations Officer

As Chief of International Operations, Peter provides strategic leadership to Food for the Hungry’s country operations and programs worldwide in responding to human suffering and graduating communities from extreme poverty. Since joining FH in 2003, Peter has worked extensively in humanitarian operations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Prior to his role as CIO, Peter served as the Country Director of Indonesia, leading FH’s disaster relief efforts after the 2004 tsunami, launched FH’s public policy and advocacy department out of Washington DC as FH’s first Director of Public Policy, and led FH’s emergency response efforts as the Senior Director of Relief and Humanitarian Affairs.

Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bethel University, a Masters in Christian studies from Denver Seminary, and a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he was a Catherine B. Reynolds Fellow for Social Entrepreneurship at the Center for Public Leadership.

Peter lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and two children. He is passionate about journeying with people around the world as together, they reach their God-given potential.
