As a sponsor, you receive regular updates from us about the impact of your sponsorship. Our staff around the world work hard to share these special reminders of how you are changing lives across the globe. Truly, seeing that impact is inspiring!
We encourage all sponsors to write letters and share about your life too! Perhaps you’ve experienced the joy of receiving mail with a note or drawing from your sponsored child. This is the best way for you to get to know your sponsored child! And one way for you to see the impact of your sponsorship.
We know most sponsors won’t ever get to visit their sponsored child’s community. Because of that, we wanted to share the story of one sponsor family who took a trip to see the impact of their sponsorship first-hand.
Meet the Bauchiero Family

The Bauchieros are a family just like yours, with a passion for helping others. Ryan and Kerry Bauchiero wanted to teach their children Tommy and Callie about the joy of connecting with others. “They get really excited when letters come in the mail, they like to read over those and compare their life with his life,” Kerry says. “There’s actually a lot of similarities, which is really cool for them to see.”
