“Food for the Hungry understands the desperate cycle of poverty as well as any organization I have been exposed to. They understand what it takes to move a community away from cyclical poverty and into a new paradigm of revitalization, spiritual awakening, and self-respect.”

WHO WE ARE

Food for the Hungry (FH) is a recognized and powerful force for the gospel. We pursue reconciled relationships and fullness of life for those challenged by poverty, injustice, and marginalization. We serve by addressing the root causes rather than a single cause. For over five decades, we have helped communities with the resources necessary to build resilience and flourish – realizing their God-given potential. We believe in the fight against poverty, which is why we served nearly 10 million people in 18 countries in 2023.

HERE’S WHERE YOU FIT IN

Together, we can create lasting change and hope for a brighter future. Church partnerships are how we do it. When a community is equipped to care for its most vulnerable members, everyone is served, and poverty is eliminated. Food for the Hungry will take care of all the logistics and behind-the-scenes details so that you can focus on what really matters: learning to love and serve your neighbors in other countries and seeing all that God is doing in the world!
