Did you know that the generous support of the crypto community is helping Food for the Hungry (FH) reach out to the world’s most vulnerable people?
FH seeks to end ALL forms of human poverty. For more than 50 years, we’ve been serving through both purposeful relief and development. We currently serve the vulnerable in more than 20 countries globally. From disasters to long-term poverty – and even a global pandemic – we are there to help, moved and inspired by our Christian belief that every person has intrinsic value. We serve on the basis of need alone.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency donations are among the most tax-efficient ways you can support the work of FH. That’s because donating cryptocurrency is a “non-taxable event.” In most cases, you will not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount, and you’ll be able to deduct the full amount of your gift on your taxes.
