What is child sponsorship?

We’ve repeatedly seen that child sponsorship is one of the most successful ways for children, families, and entire communities to rise up out of poverty. That’s why First Baptist Church Alexandria has chosen to partner with FH to sponsor children in Rodeo Grande, Nicaragua.

Your sponsorship provides resources such as clean water, values training, equal educational opportunities to girls and boys, vocational training, and leadership development in the midst of unimaginable hardships. Most of all, through your letters and monthly support, you’ll give each child the gift of HOPE. Hope for the future transforms lives and entire communities! Our hope is that First Baptist Church Alexandria will soon be able to travel and meet their sponsored children, building mutually transformative relationships.

All of the children sponsored by First Baptist Church Alexandria will come from the same community in Rodeo Grande, Nicaragua.
