Anna Trzcińska is the Country Director of South Sudan at Food for the Hungry (FH) and serves out of FH’s office in Juba, South Sudan. Anna began her professional business career in 2001, and worked for major corporations such as Citibank and Hewlett Packard for 12 years. She developed managerial and leadership skills in 2008 while working for ING Group. Her expertise is in project management, people management, and operations. Additionally, she is passionate about leading, supporting, and building the capacity of her team. She joined FH in 2018 as the Country Director of South Sudan. In this role, Anna provides strategic direction, builds the capacity of employees, represents FH to stakeholders such as donors, other NGOs, United Nations agencies, and local authorities, coordinates the work of all departments, supports the program team in fundraising, and is responsible for security in FH program work.
Anna earned an International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from Fordham University in New York, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Entrepreneurship and Management of L. Koźmiński in Warsaw, and a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Information Science from Warsaw University of Technology.
