Chief Financial Officer

Keith Cowan is the Chief Financial Officer at Food for the Hungry (FH) and serves out of FH’s office in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, Keith provides leadership to ensure the stewardship of resources provided by FHs funders to help optimize the impact for FH beneficiaries. Key functions in this role include controllership, insurance and risk management, financial planning and analysis, cash and investment management, procurement, and legal and contract management.

Keith has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry. Prior to joining FH, he worked with PwC, Honeywell International, AAA Arizona, and most recently, the Desert Botanical Garden. During his more than 11 years at AAA Arizona, Cowan was instrumental in helping the organization achieve significant long-term growth in membership, revenue, and productivity.

Keith earned MBA and BBA degrees from the University of Michigan with concentrations in Finance and International Business and Accounting. Keith and his wife, Julie, live in Phoenix, Arizona, and have two children.
