Chief of Party in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Marcelo is a proven leader with over twenty years of experience coordinating private and public partnerships and programs with international donors and multilateral institutions such as the European Union, Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank, USAID and Organization of American States. He has extensive experience in project implementation in innovative environments around land-tenure issues and property rights consolidation in all Latin America & Caribbean regions.
Before Joining FH, Marcelo was recently Chief of Party with Mercy Corps in Guatemala managing a multi-year, multi-million ($40 Million) and complex USAID-funded program focusing on violence prevention projects. He has also been Mercy Corps’ Country Director in Guatemala supervising a vast range of projects, including economic development, agriculture projects and gender oriented projects.
Marcelo holds a Master in Business Administration from the Bolivian Private University, Cochabamba, Bolivia.
