Mike Meyers is the CEO of Food for the Hungry (FH) and serves out of its corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. Before being named CEO in October 2018, Mike served as FH’s Chief Development Officer, where he oversaw the global strategic development plan, doubled the size of the child sponsorship program, and played a key role in shaping FH’s Heartbeat. Prior to joining FH in 2012, he spent 20 years working with various nonprofits in management and consulting positions.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science from Kansas State University. He continued his education by receiving a master’s degree in Theology and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Nazarene Theological Seminary.
Mike grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife Michelle and their three children.
