Rudo Kayombo joined Food for the Hungry (FH) in 2020 with a vision for how faith-based organizations like FH can facilitate the transformation of communities by walking alongside those in poverty and fighting injustice in all of its forms. With more than 20 years working in international development, Rudo brings to FH her training as an attorney and experience in advocating for refugees and survivors of gender-based violence.
Rudo’s background in international development includes past roles as Country Director for World Vision‘s offices in Zimbabwe and Uganda, experience leading advocacy for World Vision in the United Kingdom, and a leadership role at the ONE Campaign. Rudo brings to FH her passion for justice and living out her faith through her work serving the most vulnerable.
Rudo earned a Bachelor of Laws Honors Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a M.A. in Public Policy and Management from the University of York.
