EMERGENCY: On February 6, five days before The Cannonballers tour was set to launch, a series of deadly earthquakes shook regions of Turkey and Syria. Over 20,000 dead — a number expected to rise — and hundreds of thousands left without homes or basic shelter in the middle of winter.

 

One goal of this tour was to raise money for Food for the Hungry’s refugee work around the world. Colony House and Food for the Hungry have decided to put all efforts toward helping earthquake victims in the immediate future and so all funds collected on this tour will go to aid the recovery of the people of Turkey and Syria.

 

Refugee children and their families are living with only the things they could carry with them. Your $5 can help provide the things they need, like:

  • A safe place to sleep
  • Food to eat
  • Blankets for warmth
  • Access to medical care
  • Safe spaces for children to play and learn
