Adela and her husband Mariano live in rural Bolivia with their two children, 7-year-old Jhony and 12-year-old Fidelia. Before your love reached their community, life was hard. Their small farm couldn’t always provide enough to eat, and Adela felt helpless when her children struggled with homework.
“I wasn’t able to read and write, so I was very limited to help my children in their school tasks.”
In rural Bolivia where Adela grew up, girls rarely got the chance to go to school.
“I felt very sad because I was unable to help my children’s education,” she says.
