When we came to you on behalf of desperate families in Ethiopia, the situation was dire.
Ongoing drought had caused widespread famine. Babies like Ashine, who you see in the video, had only sugar water to drink. Like too many other children, Ashine was severely malnourished, and facing starvation.
This is the crisis you stepped into with your love. Along with goats, your generosity also helped provide:
- Food and other essentials for 854 families through emergency cash support
- Vegetable seeds of at least 3 different varieties for 1,000 families to help them grow nutritious food, with extra to sell
- 5 chickens each PLUS 45 lbs of chicken feed for 1,000 families to provide healthy eggs to eat and sell for income.
