Spiritual growth and physical health grow together Juana’s journey to the light

WRITTEN BY FH Staff

Darkness seemed to close in on Juana, a 22-year-old mother in a small Bolivian village. She was watching her young boys grow weaker from malnutrition. But then, a ray of light broke through.

Our skills training program taught Juana to sew, igniting a spark of self-reliance. This light grew brighter when she received seeds and gardening training, enabling her to nurture a vibrant vegetable garden. As her boys regained health, eating the nutritious produce, Juana’s hope blossomed.

The brightest illumination came through Bible study with our team. The light of Christ’s love touched Juana’s heart, and soon her entire family began attending church together.

Today, Juana’s life shines as a beacon in her community. Through practical skills, sustainable food sources, and spiritual growth, the light of transformation continues to spread, touching more lives with each passing day.
