WHY VOLUNTEER?

When you volunteer your time at FH, you’re playing a key role in ending extreme poverty. We rely on our volunteers to help us keep child sponsors connected to the transformational work that FH does all over the world. The dedication of our volunteers is life-changing for vulnerable children. Many of our volunteers find that giving their time to FH allows them to be a part of global missions without ever leaving home.

GET INVOLVED

The mission of FH is highly dependent on our faithful volunteers. We need individuals with a variety of skills as well as those who are motivated to help in a variety of capacities. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Ongoing on-site administration duties with short-term or long-term commitments
  • Assistance with special events
  • Participation in one-day projects

Important updates for volunteers:

  • In order to protect the confidentiality of donor and child information and reduce the risk of losing precious and irreplaceable documents in transport, volunteer projects will only be conducted on-site at the Food for the Hungry Phoenix office.
  • There are currently no volunteer opportunities in our international offices.
