WRITTEN BY Carrie Woodward

Behind all of Food for the Hungry’s hopes for 2019 is strategy, vision, and careful planning. Doing impactful work in relief and development requires careful consideration of not just the year ahead, but the long-term. But aside from the goals that FH leaders have set for the organization as a whole, including individual countries and regions, all of FH’s work is driven by shared hopes and dreams. We share a Heartbeat, and all want to see people restored to community. Homes rebuilt. Families strengthened. Parents empowered. Children equipped. Poverty ended.

The strategy is just one plan for how to do that.

Recently, FH leadership staff in countries around the world shared the hopes they have for 2019. Here are their answers.
